RadarView and RadarView Lite (the free version) warn you of nearby speed controls and other points of interest (POI) by using the iPhone's GPS.
You are free to download any locations file in Route66/Garmin format (compressed CSVs in a ZIP). If you know of a locations ZIP file in the internet for your area, this reader-software is for you.
RadarView will warn you using a voice (English and Spanish), a beep or just an image of the proximity of spots. You can configure the voices at the web page: RadarView can "learn" as it can download an updated voice assignation file.
You can also configure the radius of the locations area to be loaded into iPhone's memory (up to 10 Km in the Lite version, up to 12000 Km in the normal one) and the distance to the next spot yoy want to get the early warning (25 m Lite version, upt ot a mile in the normal one).
As an extra feature, current location can be saved on the fly at the press of a button in order to record personal locations, which can be exported at a later time via e-mail.

RadarView is distributed without a pre-installed database, but with known servers of AlertaGPS (ES,PT,FR,BE,NL,GB,SE) and UniversalPOI (ES).RadarView is not responsible for any traffic violation and must only be loaded with public information allowed by the traffic authority.
